Abstract Submittal

 Submit your abstract for a podium, general poster, mentored student poster, or T35 poster using the above link.  Abstracts are due no later than Midnight EST Monday, December 10, 2012.  No exceptions.  All persons making a podium or poster presentation must register for the meeting.

Abstract Guidelines

  • Title of the abstract must not exceed 10 words

  • Body of the abstract not to exceed 200 words, that includes the project's background and significance; methods; results; and conclusions: submission as a formal structured abstract is optional

  • A brief (100 word) bio of the presenting author is required

  • Abstracts may be submitted in 4 categories:  Podium; general poster; mentored student poster; and T35 poster.  Special requirements exist for mentored student and T35 poster submitters detailed in the Awards section of the Annual Meeting tab.

  • Submitters must identify a scientific focus of their work in up to 2 of the following categories:  amplification; auditory processing; diagnostic audiology; hearing and balance disorders; hearing science; implantable devices; otologic diagnosis/management; pediatric audiology; physiological responses; rehabilitation; speech perception; vestibular disorders/management; other

  • Up to 5 authors may be named on the abstract form; if more authors are to be named, please contact the AAS office ([email protected])

  • All abstracts submitted must report original, previously unpublished research

  Students applying for travel awards in the Mentored Student or T35 Student categories must submit additional materials as well.  Full details are found in Awards in the Annual Meeting tab.
