2016 Annual Meeting

The 43rd Annual Scientific and Technology Conference of the American Auditory Society was held in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Chaparral Suites Hotel, March 3 - 5, 2016.

Highlights of the meeting included the Carhart Memorial Lecture, presented by Michael Gorga, PhD of Boys Town National Research Hospital; presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Fred Linthicum, Jr., MD; and three exciting Translational Research lectures presented by Jonathan Peelle, PhD of Washington University in Saint Louis, Susan Arndt, MD of the University of Freiburg Medical Center, and Karen J. Cruickshanks, PhD of the University of Wisconsin. Jessica Sullivan, PhD of the University of Washington gave the Young Investigator Presentation and a Special Session on "Tinnitus Therapies" was presented by Carol Bauer, MD of Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, James Henry, PhD of the VA National Center for Rehabilitative Auditory Research, Steven Cheung, MD of the University of California San Francisco, and Fan-Gang Zeng, PhD of the University of California Irvine.

2015 Annual Meeting

The 42nd Annual Scientific and Technology Conference of the American Auditory Society was held in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Chaparral Suites Hotel, March 5 - 7, 2015.

Wilson, PhD; and three exciting Translational Research lectures presented by Brent Edwards, PhD of EarLens, Christine Yoshinaga-Itano, PhD of the University of Colorado Boulder, and Steven D. Rauch, MD of Harvard Medical School, Mass. Eye and Ear Infirmary and Mass. General Hospital. Lina Reiss, PhD of Oregon Health and Science University gave the Young Investigator Presentation and a Special Session on "Military and VA Research: Advancing our Understanding of Hearing" was presented by Lucille B. Beck, PhD of the Veterans Health Administration, Marjorie R. Leek, PhD of the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, Douglas S. Brungart, PhD of the National Military Audiology and Speech Center, Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and Frederick Gallun, PhD of the National Center for Rehabilitative Auditory Research, Portland VA Medical Center and Oregon Health & Science University.

2014 Annual Meeting

Jason Tait Sanchez, PhD of Northwestern University gave the Young Investigator Presentation and a Special Session on Ear Drug Delivery Systems was presented by Anil K. Lalwani, MD of Columbia University, Michael J. McKenna, MD of Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Alec N. Salt, PhD of Washington University School of Medicine, and Robert K.
