The American Auditory Society (AAS) is a multidisciplinary organization composed of individuals whose professional work is dedicated to the ear, hearing, and balance. The mission of the Society is to foster the dissemination of knowledge and exchange of information among these professionals. The Society’s specific goals are to increase knowledge and understanding of:
  • The ear, hearing, and balance;
  • Disorders of the ear, hearing, and balance, and preventions of these disorders; and,
  • Habilitation and rehabilitation of individuals with hearing and balance dysfunction.
The meeting will be held March 6-8, 2008

GENERAL RESEARCH POSTER SESSION
Description and Eligibility Statement

A general poster session is part of the program for the annual American Auditory Society meeting!

The purpose of this session is to: recognize and promote research in the fields of audiology, hearing science, otolaryngology and biomedical engineering. This AAS session will provide a unique opportunity for researchers to get individualized input from peers in the context of a multi-disciplinary, small meeting environment. Our goal is to encourage attendees to pursue research, to promote their excitement about science and to provide a sense of belonging to the larger scientific community of hearing scientists.

Eligibility: Any professional engaged research in Audiology, hearing science, biomedical engineering, or other fields involved in the study of hearing and balance.

Poster abstract Submission: Abstracts for the General Poster Session may only be submitted on-line at this website.

Deadline for Submission: December 10, 2007
