HOTEL RESERVATIONS

Make your room and airline reservations directly with the resort (rooms tend to sell out early).  We are always concerned about having a sufficient number of rooms.  The room rate we have negotiated is extremely good for a resort hotel in the Phoenix area at this time of the year.  The rate is $189 per night, single or double occupancy.  If you plan on sharing a room and splitting costs with a friend, this would be a good time to start planning.  If you wait too long there may be no rooms available. There are also some triple and quad rates at $199 and $209 respectively.

Organization: American Auditory Society. Attendee Code: Not yet available

Overflow Hotel (Next Door) is the Hotel Scottsdale. Phone: 866-394-3911. Identify yourself as being with the Amrican Auditory Society.

If You Make Online Reservations at the Chaparral Suites Resort:
• Access www.chaparralsuites.com
• Access Reservations tab from home page
• On bottom of screen click on the Group Reservation (in green) tab
• Type AU5917in the Attendee Code Box and click Attendee Login

This accesses the group block and allows guests to complete their group reservation by following the 4 steps from screen to screen:
• Dates and room type
• Contact info(guest address, credit card info, etc…)
• Clicking the “finish” tab and receiving a confirmation number

(rooms reserve and fill very early).

Rate:
$189/night single or double occupancy.
Organization:
The American Auditory Society

If you want additional nights, tell them at this time.  You are guaranteed the same rates as for the meeting.  Consider this if you plan on making this a mini holiday as well.  If you think you might be staying on, make the reservation because there is little chance you can extend it once the season starts to fill.  You can always cancel, however.
AIRLINES

All major airlines fly to Phoenix, including non-stop from England via British Airways.  The sooner you make reservations the greater are your opportunities to obtain the best rates.  This is a major center for Southwest Airlines, a low-cost carrier.

CONTINUING EDUCATION INFORMATION

Medical CME. CEU credits will be solicited for AAA, ASHA, IIHIS and the State of Arizona
